Spread the love

There are only 24 hours in the day and trying to get so many things done in that short period is challenging for many including myself. I was always thought making lists the night before on a piece of paper and crossing them off as you do them is the best way to get through your to-dos, but I just found it bit simplistic and when I want to go back to my notes for say a task I did a while back, I am always left going through my notebook and stressing about it.

Then I was introduced to Asana which I have to say made life so much easier. Asana is a Project Management system, which is one of many PM systems that are designed to help you plan your workload, study, or even chores. Their dashboards allow users to group tasks in categories, leave notes under each task that you can always come back to and read what you did, how and why. You can then mark the task as done and that is just at the basic level. You can upgrade to get reports and etc but for someone who just wants a place to organize their tasks, the basic level is really all you need. There are others, however, including Monday.com which just do the same job but obviously look and feel different.

I said goodbye to the spreadsheets and hello to the dashboards and honestly, I have not looked back since. My Asana dashboard is the first thing I look at each morning because usually, I have about 10 new tasks before I have had my first cup of coffee that I need to add to my to-do list, and the last thing I look at before shutting down the computer.

What I also love about this is, I could be at home watching TV and I remember something I need to work on back in the office, I can just log in to the app and write down my notes. I am also able to search for tasks I worked on months ago and read my comments and avoid those I think I did this task awkward conversations. I am telling you, if you need help with organizing your tasks and remembering what you worked on, take a look at how a project Management System like Monday.com or Asana can help you.

What do you do to stay on top of it all, I would love to hear from you, leave a comment below.
